OnePlus might be having a hard time keeping any information regarding its next flagship hidden. As of late, we’ve seen a number of leaks surrounding the OnePlus 6. That’s despite the phone not debuting for several months.
There may be a wait until the OnePlus 6 is official, but insiders don’t care about holding onto any details. If something is discovered, it’ll make its way out. Then the hype continues building.
Specifications for the OnePlus 6 aren’t too hard to predict. With the industry, OnePlus follows. Most companies do the same. But there will, of course, be some differences between the OnePlus 6 and other flagships on the market. The latest leak, which comes from TechSlize, claims to reveal key specs for the phone.
Here’s the alleged spec sheet:

To absolutely no surprise, the phone will ship with high-end specs. OnePlus wants to create a flagship that rivals top brands, hoping consumers will make the switch after seeing $1,000 phones aren’t necessary. The OnePlus 6, however, could ship with at least one model carrying an eye-popping price. Loyal customers won’t want to hear that, but OnePlus is interested in bigger margins.
The leak says the OnePlus 6 will feature a 6.28-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080) AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 20MP and 16MP rear cameras, a 20MP front-facing camera, a 3450mAh battery, and Android 8.1 Oreo.
On paper, that’s enough to compete against the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Apple iPhone X. Where OnePlus runs into a problem is brand recognition. BBK Electronics, its parent company, doesn’t provide a sizable budget for advertising. OnePlus has only found success with fans sharing their views online, so the customer base isn’t actually that large.
If you’re considering the OnePlus 6 to be your next phone, you still have a lot of time ahead. OnePlus isn’t expected to launch its 2018 flagship until June.
