Nintendo can’t be too pleased with the amount of mistakes made around the Internet this week. A huge leak from GameStop Germany already posted the entire game line-up and release date on its website, so you can’t really beat that. However, more leaks further hint that these stories will pan out.
One of the biggest leaks comes from the North American GameStop website, which referenced the oft-rumored Pokémon Stars on its website. The updated version of Pokémon Sun and Moon will is no longer there, but images were captured be eagle-eyed viewers.
This has since been taken down by GameStop, but check out the Pokemon reference. Pokemon Stars confirmed? pic.twitter.com/uLXyAHcOy1

Actually it is still there. https://t.co/HutU2MsMuP. Check it out. If Pokemon Stars actually is announced on Thursday…BOOM.

As with most of the other games we are expecting, GameStop says their official announcement will come on Thursday.
As with just about every story we post on the Nintendo Switch this week, this is just a rumor until we get official confirmation from Nintendo during its huge presentation this Thursday night at 11PM EST/9PM PT. Pokémon Stars has appeared as a rumor often enough to practically confirm itself, but this is just the routine we always go through with huge announcements just over the horizon.
I still haven’t had a chance to play Pokémon Sun and Moon, so maybe this upgraded version is just the one I was waiting for. My Nintendo 3DS seems tired and needs to take a rest after half a decade of service. Time to try a new, fun, portable toy.
