Netflix announces its most “binge raced” shows

As a fan of Gilmore Girls, I have to admit I watched all of “A Year in the Life” the day it came out despite it corresponding to my first day of vacation. This also gives some credence to the rumors that Netflix is eager to get the show together for another go around at some point.

As you can see the list tends to favor half-hour comedies, and that makes sense due to how much time they require. Binging 13 one-hour episodes would be a bit more difficult in a 24-hour window.

Netflix revealed that around 8.9M of its 109M subscribers are into the binge racing habit, and it also revealed the countries that engage in it the most:

1. Canada
2. United States
3. Denmark
4. Finland
5. Norway
6. Germany
7. Mexico
8. Australia
9. Sweden
10. Brazil

Netflix is expected to spend in the neighborhood of $8 billion on original programming in 2018, so be prepared for a whole lot more binge racing in your future.
