Microsoft has released a number of insider previews for the Windows 10 Creators Update, and the Redmond company teased even more changes on Tuesday. This time, Microsoft has focused all of its attention on Edge, the company’s web browser.
In a video posted to YouTube, Microsoft stylishly outlines the changes coming to Edge, including expanded availability of extensions. Microsoft says extension developers will have access to 30 percent more APIs compared to initial release. That means more powerful extensions for users, and hopefully increased interest from the developer community.
Meanwhile, Edge is introducing new tab management features that look gorgeous. Users will be able to preview visual thumbnails of their open tabs, set a group of tabs aside for later, and more. The video above demonstrates how these features look in action. Suddenly, Edge has become one of the web’s most beautiful and functional browsers.
