Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Olivia Jade Is in Disbelief Over Mom’s Makeover
Olivia Jade Giannulli couldn’t help but rave over her mom Lori Loughlin’s nearly unrecognizable transformation for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala.
“How does my mother look like this? ☠️,” Giannulli, 26, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 17, alongside pics of the mother-daughter duo at the LACMA occasion.
Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli attended the museum’s gala on Friday, where the YouTube star stunned in a black Elie Saab gown with a sheer lace bodice and a dramatic black skirt. Loughlin, for her part, wowed in a slinky silver frock with her hair styled in a bob.
While the Full House alum has long worn her tresses in lengthy auburn waves, she switched up her ‘do on Friday. Loughlin’s hairstylist, David Robert Naumann, subsequently denied that the actress wore a wig for the red carpet.
“It’s not a wig. I’d know,” Naumann wrote via Instagram comment later that night, also noting that he gave Loughlin the “chop chop” for the outing.
Loughlin has recently been putting herself back out there since she separated from husband Mossimo Giannulli in late 2025 after decades of marriage.
“Lori has been putting herself back out there after her split from Mossimo and is dating again,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month, noting the actress is “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.”
The insider further pointed out that Loughlin, who shares Olivia Jade and 27-year-old Bella with her estranged husband, “feels like she got her spark back.”
“[She] is in such a good headspace lately,” the source told Us. “The dust has settled, and she’s really leaning into this season of life, enjoying her independence, spending a lot of time with her girls and having fun.”
Loughlin also mounted an acting comeback, recently reprising her role on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart.

“It feels amazing and my girl [Erin Krakow] here has been championing this for a long time,” Lori Loughlin said at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in December 2025. “When did I find out? Maybe like a month ago, two months ago, and I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming … and this just feels incredible.”
She gushed at the time, “I mean, you guys all know it, we have such a special cast, and such a special bond and it’s just so nice to be back with my family.”
Hallmark previously cut ties with Loughlin in 2019 over her connection to the college admissions scandal. She served two months in prison in 2020 and paid a $400,000 fine.
