Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas Sizzle on 2026 Critics Choice Red Carpet
Tracker star Justin Hartley and wife Sofia Pernas stepped out for a date night at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.
Hartley, 48, and Pernas, 36, posed together in matching black ensembles on the red carpet at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, January 4. Pernas opted for an off-the-shoulder gown with pink floral accents, while her husband wore a suit and bowtie. Hartley wrapped his arm around Pernas’ waist as they smiled at the cameras ahead of the awards show.
Hartley and Pernas met while working together on the soap opera The Young and the Restless around 2015-2016, but it wasn’t until 2020 when the pair reconnected and sparked romance rumors. Us Weekly exclusively broke the news that they were dating in May 2020.
Hartley and Pernas later went Instagram official in December 2020 when they celebrated New Year’s Eve together.
“Happy New Year from our quarantine den to yours,” Pernas wrote at the time.
Hartley and Pernas made their red carpet debut at the MTV Movie TV Awards in May 2021 and sparked marriage rumors by wearing rings on their left ring fingers. One day later, People confirmed that the couple had tied the knot privately.
Justin, who shares daughter Isabella, 21, with ex-wife Lindsay Hartley, said in a joint interview with Pernas in October 2021 that they weren’t in a rush to expand their family.
“We fell in love and we now get to do all the fun stuff that couples do. So, we’re just enjoying that,” Pernas told Hollywood Life at the time. “It‘s hilarious. Technically our first date was a year after we were together because that was when the world opened up.”
The This Is Us star opened up about reconnecting with Pernas in a December 2021 interview with Haute Living.

“You meet in different capacities. We didn’t work together that closely, and we didn’t work together that long. I knew that she was very kind and very nice. I liked being around her. But I was in a different place in my life. I wasn’t available,” he said. “Timing has a lot to do with that. I’m very lucky to not only have found The One, but I found her when she was available and the timing was right.”
Hartley also gushed about his effortless relationship with Pernas.
“It’s incredible when you’re not forcing things. It doesn’t have to be that hard,” he continued. “You just meet the right person and you just go, ‘Oh, this is amazing. It’s just so wonderful!’ You’re so attracted and so attached to this person. You just love this person so much. … When I re-met her, I just knew. It’s so interesting about the human heart and human mind. It’s not a codependency — I’m just at peace with myself. I feel loved and I feel appreciated. I know she feels the same way.”
