Joey King Flaunts Cheeky Underwear in Naked Dress at ‘Practical Magic 2’ Event
Joey King showed off her lingerie in a tasteful way.
All eyes were on King, 27, at the Practical Magic 2 premiere in London on Wednesday, August 26, while rocking a sheer Miu Miu dress.
As she posed on the red carpet, King showed off her butter yellow underwear featuring boy shorts that gave her a cheeky effect and the brand’s logo on the front. She styled the piece with a matching bralette finished with lace detailing on her hem.
The actress, who plays Kylie Owens, the daughter of Sally Owens (Sandra Bullock), wore her undergarments under a mesh frock equipped with a square neckline, puffy sleeves and an A-line skirt. Her dress was finished with delicate yellow and white floral details. King made sure her fans got every angle of her look by picking up her skirt and tossing it around.
Styled by Jared Eng, she accessorized with yellow strappy heels, a delicate ring and diamond stud earrings in the shape of flowers.
King’s ensemble was even more glamorous thanks to her glam team, hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos and makeup artist Allan Avendaño.
Her makeup featured glowy skin, sparkly purple eyeshadow blended to her crease, a touch of mascara and pink lips.
Giannetos broke down how he created King’s “wicked bangs” and “magical” look in a press release shared with Us.
“Joey attended the world premiere of her new movie Practical Magic 2 in London wearing the most gorgeous pastel lemon dress,” he began. “I wanted to stay within the magical, slightly mysterious theme of the movie while enhancing her beautiful natural texture.”
In the spur of the moment, Giannetos “decided to chop some bangs.” As for the rest of her auburn hair, he curled her mane in a “wispy” fashion and “brushed-through” her tresses for a “little mysterious” look.
First, he applied volume mousse throughout her hair to “build body and enhance her natural texture.”
Giannetos then told Us he diffused her hair with his TYMO AirHype dryer until her hair was “completely dry.”

“I went in with the TYMO CurlPro Plus to add more definition and shape throughout,” he explained. “The CurlPro Plus is literally so easy to use and creates the perfect curl in just a few seconds. I used it on different sections throughout the hair to create those beautiful done-but-undone curls I wanted for this look: polished and defined, but still soft, effortless.”
Giannetos continued, “After finishing the curls, I sprayed some dry shampoo to add even more texture and gently brushed through the curls with a paddle brush to soften everything.”
Practical Magic 2 hits theaters on September 11.
