James Bond is coming back for his 25th movie

The biggest questions surrounding the next Bond movie wasn’t so much whether it would come, but in what form it would arrive. With four Bond films under his belt, it’d be tough to blame Craig for leaving the role behind. Especially after a comment about how he’d rather slash his wrists than make another Bond flick. Either he’s slashed his wrists or maybe he was joking and we blew it out of proportion, because the New York Times reports that two people “briefed on the matter”  said that Craig’s return to the franchise is a “done deal.”

Craig’s turn in Casino Royale made for one of the best Bond movies ever, and Skyfall was a lot of fun, too. I’d love to see him take one more go at the role and leave it on a high note closer to those movies than to Quantum of Solace and SPECTRE.

The currently-untitled James Bond 25 is set to hit American theaters on November 8, 2019.
