Is your Samsung Galaxy S8 missing texts?

The 2017 flagship from Samsung is currently experiencing a major issue. Both the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ in the United States are having a hard time receiving texts from others. A significant number of reports for the bug started appearing on Thursday afternoon, and owners of the phones are still without an answer the next day. Most don’t even know that there’s a problem because it involves communication.

Owners of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ on all major U.S. carriers’ networks are affected by the widespread outage. It may not be each and every unit, however. While some are completely left in the dark from receiving texts, others are going about their day as usual. And switching messaging apps doesn’t appear to help.

Multiple outlets, including TechnoBuffalo, have reached out to Samsung for a comment. So far the company hasn’t issued a response to anyone. The only solution, for now, is to communicate through calls or internet-based messaging apps.
