iOS 11 beta 6 is here—Download it now

Apple today released the sixth beta for iOS 11, exactly a week after releasing beta 5. The update is replete with minor improvements that slowly stabilizes things ahead of final public version set to be released in September, but there are few tweaks that really stand out.

The main fixes that arrive with beta 6 are patches to bugs that caused the DirecTV app to crash and the App Store to cut off audio that is playing when launched. Bugs within Family Sharing have also been addressed.

Apple also updated a few icons with the latest beta, including updating the App Store, Maps and Notes App. The App Store icon is now more stylized, the Maps icon was slightly tweaked with a new yet familiar styling and the Reminders icon moves the bullets back to the left side.

Last week, Apple released the public beta (4) update one day after releasing the developer beta (5). If you are using the public beta, keep an eye out for the update to come as soon as tomorrow.
