Here’s what Rocket League would have looked like in 1998

Someone “demade” Rocket League, and the result is almost too perfect for words. The nostalgia that’s flooding in for a game that didn’t exist is absurd.

YouTube channel 98DEMAKE did the work of creating a case for Rocket League on the original PlayStation, and then they produced a short segment of “gameplay” complete with some classic sound effects and totally applicable catch phrases like, “Wrecked ’em!”

It’s a real treat.

How on point is that, right? The case art, the graphics, the sound effects, even the old camcorder style and noise in the video itself is all spot-on.

If I had never heard of Rocket League before and someone showed me this video, I would absolutely assume it was a totally real thing. Kudos, 98DEMAKE, this was awesome.
