Here’s everything coming to Amazon Prime Video in February
If you are into Star Trek or critically acclaimed movies and TV shows, you are going to like the additions arriving to Amazon Prime Video in February. The list is pretty extensive and offers a lot of options, but we’ve narrowed the list to five noteworthy choices you should definitely check out.
- Logan Lucky: Steven Soderbergh’s latest film is an absolute blast. The oddball comedy of two brothers trying to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race is one of the Oscar-winning director’s best movies to date. It features fantastic performances by Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Riley Keough.
- Mozart in the Jungle, season 4: The Golden Globe winner for best comedy is one of the most refreshing titles available on Prime Video, and it’s returning for its fourth season this February. The series is based around the New York Symphony maestro Rodrigo (portrayed by the fantastic Gael GarcÃa Bernal).
- The Tick, season 1 part 2: The second part of The Tick’s first season will be available to stream in February. Back with six additional episodes, The City is in danger and the Tick will have to join forces with other heroes to save it.
- Absentia, season 1: Absentia is an original series from Amazon following the disappearance of an FBI agent (Stana Katic) who is found captive after being missing for six years. Instantly she becomes the suspect of a string of murders while trying to cope with the downfall of being absent for so long.
- Star Trek: The J.J. Abrams earns the last spot because it’s a fun movie to watch. Bringing the Starship Enterprise to the 21st century along with introducing a whole new cast of led by Chris Pine proved to be a winning formula. That along with a ton of lens flare.
