Here are the titles coming to Amazon Prime and Video in May
Netflix and Hulu already announced the additions coming to their respective services in May, and now its Amazon’s turn.
The highlight of the additions arriving are Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight. Manchester by the Sea is the first Amazon original movie to win an Academy Award. It won for Best Original Screenplay (Kenneth Logerman) and Best Actor (Casey Affleck) and was nominated in four other categories, including Best Picture.
Speaking of Best Picture, Moonlight won the most prestigious Oscar award and will be available to stream on Amazon Prime in May thanks in part to a deal with A24. Moonlight took home two other Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay (Barry Jenkins) and Best Supporting Actor (Mahershela Ali) while earning eight total nominations.
For original TV shows, the comedy I Love Dick will also be available to stream starting May 12. It stars Kevin Bacon and Katherine Hahn. Rings, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, Fifty Shades Darker and T2: Trainspotting will be available to rent through Amazon Video in May.
