Galaxy Note 9 vs. Galaxy Note 8: What Exactly Changed in One Year?

  • August 09, 2018

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 9, the next iteration in its famed stylus-laden line that helped usher in the era of super-sized displays. The 2018 version doesn’t usher in a revolutionary update like its predecessors have, but it is notably different from last year’s model.

The biggest changes can be surmised in three sections: bigger display, bigger battery and more storage. That would be a 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity Display, 4,000mAh battery, and 512GB of storage upgradable up to 1TB via microSD card. Those are the biggest changes you’ll notice.

There are also the other usual spec updates like processor and a slight improvement of the optics for the camera. Samsung didn’t change much of the design aside from moving the fingerprint scanner to a more comfortable place underneath the camera.

Take a look at the spec list down below and let us know if the Note 9 is a worthy upgrade over the Note 8.
