The upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will be the best smartphone on the market for media consumption, according to a Samsung executive. It’s believed that the handset’s 6.3-inch Infinity Display and enhanced S Pen functionality will provide a playback experience like no other.
We’re not sure the addition of a stylus and a screen that’s 0.1-inches larger than the one on board the Galaxy S8 Plus is going to make watching an episode of Breaking Bad more enjoyable, but until we can actually put it to the test, we’ll have to take the executive’s word on it.
One thing’s for sure: The Galaxy Note 8 will excel in the productivity department. A massive Infinity Display combined with an S Pen, 6GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 835 processor will make switching between multiple applications and editing documents on-the-go a breeze.
While it may seem like we know exactly what Samsung’s working on, there’s a good chance the South Korean company has some hidden tricks up its hanbok, because it’s going to need a groundbreaking new feature to rival the optical fingerprint reader Apple’s reportedly perfected.
