Gabrielle Union Goes Braless Underneath a Crystal Dress on New Year’s Eve
Gabrielle Union is always on top of trends.
Union, 53, stunned in a silver dress while ringing in the new year. She shared photos of her sizzling hot look via Instagram on Thursday, January 1, showing off a semi-sheer dress that she went braless underneath. Her frock featured razor-thin straps, a square neckline and a fitted bodice. Her look was complete with a cinched waist and a flowy skirt, as well as all-over crystals.
Union made her look even more glamorous with a full beat, including smokey eyeshadow, long lashes, blushed cheeks and lined, glossy lips. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and styled in big, bouncy curls.
The actress posed with her husband, Dwyane Wade, who looked sharp in a monochromatic army green outfit. He wore an oversized jacket, a fitted top and matching straight pants. He completed his look with patent leather black shoes, a silver chain necklace and a luxurious watch.
“Wrapped in gratitude #2026 ✨🥂🍾,” Union captioned the post. Her celebrity friends and fans complimented her and Wade in the comments section.
“Vibes. ✨,” Michael B. Jordan wrote, while Larry Sims added, “🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤.” One of her followers gushed, “The Fabulous WADES 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯,” as a second commented, “❤️ So Beautiful and Amazing Couple.”
Union previously opened up about her sizzling hot sense of style in March 2024 while chatting with The Lift by Knix. When asked how she navigates social expectations on her body image, Union answered, “By blowing up people’s ideas of what’s appropriate for a 51-year-old.” She added, “I’m going to wear the thong. Yeah, you’re going to see it.”
Union explained that when she “stopped caring about what everyone thought and everyone else’s opinion, the good times started rolling in.” She added, “I’m not going to be shut away into a closet to sit in a rocking chair in a sweater set. I’m going to be me, every day.”
She also shared that the saying “age appropriate” is a disservice and comes with living inauthentically. Instead, she encourages her fans to own “ourselves, our stories and our bodies.”

Union again flaunted her sexy side in September 2025 while enjoying a boat day in Miami with Wade, 43. She slayed in a red bikini featuring triangle cups which were connected by a matching chain on her chest, as well as straight straps. She complemented the top with matching cheeky bottoms.

Union also showed off her coverup, which featured a luxe brown-and-white short-sleeve top lined with buttons and matching pants finished with a white drawstring.
The Bring It On star wore her brunette hair parted down the middle and styled in French braids that cascaded to her hips. Union went makeup free in the pics and showed off her dewy skin. Wade, for his part, rocked a brown swimsuit, a blue baseball cap and black sunglasses finished with a gold metal frame.
