Elizabeth Banks Wears Erin Andrews’ Viral Fur Coat at Super Bowl LX
The internet loves a fur coat moment just as much as they love football — as proven by Elizabeth Banks rocking the same plush jacket that Erin Andrews made go viral.
The actress, 51, wore the iconic black-and-cream coat from the brand AUTER during Super Bowl LX pregame coverage on Sunday, February 8.
“Looking great in your jacket!” said the NBC Sports reporter interviewing Banks, who showed off her New England Patriots-inspired manicure as fans gathered at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, to watch the Pats take on the Seattle Seahawks for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
“So excited to be here,” Banks said while promoting her new show The Miniature Wife, which arrives on Peacock on April 9.
“It’s a relationship dramedy about this couple who thinks they have a lot of big problems until they have exactly one very small problem, which is that I am six inches tall,” Banks shared about the upcoming series, revealing her character’s longtime connection is put to the ultimate test when her husband (played by Matthew Macfadyen) accidentally shrinks her.
During the interview, Banks was notably clad in the jacket worn by Andrews, 47, weeks before during the January 11 game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.

“Elizabeth Banks stole Erin Andrews fur coat,” one social media user posted on X. “I guess @ElizabethBanks copying your furry jacket is the highest form of flattery, @ErinAndrews?” another chimed in.
Banks is the latest celebrity to rock the FOX JACKET in Sand Noir, which retails for $950 and is described as a “refined statement piece in plush faux fur, defined by a sculptural oversized shawl collar and bold smoke-and-black palette,” per its online description.
The jacket is a “warm yet lightweight” addition to an outfit, and “drapes softly around the frame with a relaxed, enveloping shape.” Furthermore, its “plush texture adds depth and structure while maintaining fluid movement.”
The jacket previously sold out after Andrews rocked the look during her sideline report at the January 11 game.
“I’d f***ing kill for that coat. I can’t focus on what Erin Andrews is saying because I’m mesmerized by her coat,” one person commented at the time. “Couldn’t care less about this game. I just want Erin Andrews’ coat,” another agreed. “Erin Andrews’ coat is a paid actor! Woooooo,” a third wrote, while a fourth resounded, “Erin Andrews got on a MF COAT BABY!”

Fans flocked to check out the jacket after Andrews reposted a photo of herself on Instagram Stories, tagging the clothing brand and her stylist, Daniela Viviana Romero.
“I knew when my stylist, Daniela Romero, suggested I wear it that it was outside the box and super fun — and I thought Philly was the best place to do it,” Andrews told Glamour on January 13, revealing she didn’t expect such a massive reaction online.
“In the wind, I know it looked like a Beyoncé video,” she quipped, adding, “It felt fun, it felt fabulous, it felt like a big event, it felt like a big wild card playoff game on FOX. It was the perfect time to wear this piece and I’m so excited we did it.”
