Broadcasting a live video on Instagram is about to be a lot more fun

You will soon be able to add a second person to your live video on Instagram. At least, that’s if a beta test the firm is currently running turns out to be a success — and there’s no reason it shouldn’t be.

Adding a friend to your broadcast is simple, explains The Verge. All you need to do is tap the new collaboration button and select a friend to add, then you broadcast screen will split vertically.

It could take a while to reach your device

Instagram says that the feature will start rolling out globally over the course of the next few months, but there’s a chance it could be pulled in the process if it isn’t well-received by the community.
