Tofino beach-goers got a singular glance of some bizarre looking blue creatures Sunday, as hundreds of jellyfish-like creatures famous as Velella velella cleared ashore.
Also famous as By-the-Wind-Sailors, a tiny insatiable animals are associated to jellyfish. They do sting, though not adequate to mistreat people.Â
They use their stinging tentacles to feed on tiny fish larvae.
