Seeing as BlackBerry is still yet to acknowledge that the KEYone is headed to Sprint, there’s a good chance that the aforementioned dates are subject to change, but at least we know the device is on the way.
“While the Blackberry KEYone is coming to Sprint, we’re not supporting the factory unlocked version at launch,†said a Community Manager on the forum, confirming suspicions that the handset will only have GSM capabilities.
The KEYone is BlackBerry’s latest smartphone to be manufactured by HMD Global. It packs a 4.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 825 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 12MP rear camera and a 3,505mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
Granted, the KEYone isn’t going to win any awards in the performance (or camera) department, but its nostalgic design is certainly proving to be a hit, with many self-proclaimed tech gurus adopting the device as their daily driver.
