After weeks of rumors and leaks, the BlackBerry KEY2 is finally official. The latest phone from TCL to carry the iconic BlackBerry brand name may not set the world on fire when it comes to bleeding edge specs, but it is sure to make brand loyalists more than a bit happy.

The product line has never really been about the hardware, but be that as it may, the BlackBerry KEY2 sports a Qualcomm SDM660, Android 8.1, a 3500mAh battery, a 4.5-inch (1620×1080) screen, dual 12MP rear shooters, an 8MP selfie camera up front, 6GB of RAM and your choice of 64 or 128GB of onboard memory.

Where it matters with a BlackBerry, however, is in the keyboard, and the new one has some tricks up its sleeve. The keys have been enlarged by 20 percent while also adding the first new key in 10 years, the Speed Key. This new addition will let you jump between apps by assigning them to different keys.

If you’ve got a hankering to try out the new BlackBerry it will retail for $649 and will be up for pre-order in various markets stating this month.
