Dangit, Persona 5 fans! Would you chill out?!

On the game’s official Japanese site, Persona 5 developer Atlus had to put up a post for its fans. Those making the “pilgrimage to the sacred place” need to behave themselves.

Persona 5 is based in Tokyo, and it even features the digital recreations of real life areas in Japan’s capital city. The problem now is that diehard Persona fans in Japan are making trips out to this small neighborhood, trespassing, taking photos where they shouldn’t and littering.

Don’t do that, guys.

A game so good it deserves a pilgrimage?

I guess, if I lived in Japan with its great public transportation system and I happened to adore Persona, I could see making a small trip on a boring Saturday. Granted, I don’t think I’d litter. Don’t litter. That’s bad. Also, don’t trespass.

On the plus side, the game must be good if it’s causing pilgrimages. That’s the silver lining here.

We’ll see Persona 5 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on April 4, 2017.
