As Crash surpasses Activision’s expectations, calls for Spyro remaster grow

Or… you know… how about Spyro?

Skylanders on mobile is about as exciting to me as another kidney stone. Instead, how about Activision turn to the mascot that it used to hype its toy-game money maker and subsequently threw under the bus once Skylanders became an annual fixture? Spyro the Dragon was bought out alongside Crash Bandicoot way back in the day, and while he hasn’t been neglected nearly as long as Crash, he’s probably just as much of a nostalgic favorite to the PlayStation crowd.

Although, I’m totally willing to admit that all of this Crash Bandicoot love has left me feeling left out. I have nothing but happy memories with the original three Spyro the Dragon games, so I want my nostalgia fix too!

I’m not the only one either. Reddit and the other usual stomping grounds are now singing to the tune of Spyro the same way that Crash fans were doing for so many years. They’re probably just a vocal minority though…

… oh wait.
