Archie Comics, Metroid, and the nagging sensation of “What if…”

Dreaming of what could have been…

According to the Facebook post, the idea for the Metroid comic came about nearly six years ago, roughly about the same time Archie Comics started finding success with Mega Man. Obviously, it never came to fruition, and Metroid fans are still looking for an outlet to fill in the Samus-shaped void that remains in their hearts.

Don’t worry, we always have those sweet Valiant Comics from back when I was a kid. Check those out if you need a fix.
