Apple on Monday released the first beta for iOS 11.2, coming on the heels of iOS 11.1, which Apple has yet to release to consumers. (With the iPhone X set to launch this Friday, we can probably expect the software to be released later this week or early next week.)
It’s unclear what’s new in iOS 11.2, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for new features. Apple users are still awaiting the arrival of Apple Pay Cash and Message in iCloud, so perhaps iOS 11.2 will usher those new features in. Which would be disappointing, because it would mean iOS 11.1 won’t launch with those features.
If you’re a developer, you can get your hands on iOS 11.2 right now. Apple will likely release the public beta for iOS 11.2 in the coming days.
