Apple on Wednesday began rolling out the sixth beta for iOS 11.2.5, bringing the company one step closer to an official release. The software comes just a week after Apple launched iOS 11.2.2, which was designed to protect users against the “Spectre†bug.
According to MacRumors, one of the big new features in iOS 11.2.5 allows Siri to play daily news podcasts, similar to what people can do with Alexa and Google Assistant. Sources include The Washington Post, Fox News, CNN, and NPR.
Outside of that, it’s unclear what new features are included in iOS 11.2.5. We’re still awaiting the release of Messages in iCloud and AirPlay 2. We’ll keep an eye out for any new features that appear in the latest release.
