At an event reportedly planned for next month, Apple is expected to unveil a 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which will apparently feature a display with the same pixel density as Apple’s smaller 9.7-inch model.
According to IHS Markit director Rhoda Alexander, via Forbes, the upcoming device is said to feature a display with a resolution of 2,224 x 1668, which would give it a pixel density of 264 PPI. That’s equal to the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which has a resolution of 2,048 x 1536.
Alexander claims the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will feature smaller bezels when it launches, but have a footprint that’s similar in size to the 9.7-inch model. It’s unclear how else the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will differentiate from the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
