VAR stability to make progress

With several domestic campaigns commencement this month, Video Assistant Referee (VAR) is being used in some-more of these competitions to assistance officials make critical decisions in matches.

VAR was initial implemented during final year’s FIFA Club World Cup before being used during a FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 and a FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017. Over 70 matches in these competitions used VAR to assistance make refereeing decisions.
