Timur Pukhov’s late chastisement was wilful in securing CSKA a quarter-final date with Benfica. The midfielder converted after Rosenborg screw Julian Faye Lund fouled substitute Dmitrii Merenchukov. Earlier, Timur Zhamaletdinov’s idea was his 13th in a UEFA Youth League, putting him corner second on a all-time list.
