Former Louisville offensive lineman Mekhi Becton is bigger than you. But he also is more athletic.

The 6-foot-7, 364 pound tackle (17% body fat) is the largest player at this week’s NFL combine and has amazed everyone in Indianapolis with impressive speed to go along with his size.

In the 40-yard dash, he clocked in at 5.10 seconds officially (his run was initially measured at 5.11 seconds).

ESPN NFL reporter Field Yates also said Becton had a 10-yard split at 1.80.

“This is absolutely ridiculous,” Yates said on Twitter.

He posted 23 bench press reps of 225 pounds, but the test is more difficult for players with long arms – and Becton’s measured in at 35 5/8 inches

For Louisville fans, and defensive linemen in the ACC, Becton’s strength and athletic ability are no surprise. There’s even a video of him dunking when he played basketball circulating online.
