Spider-Man Far From Home trailer picks up where Avengers: Endgame left off

The newest trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home premiered on Monday, giving fans a major sneak peak at what’s next in the Marvel universe.

Opening with a huge warning, Tom Holland, 22, told viewers to proceed only if they’ve seen Avengers: Endgame already as spoilers were ahead.

Following Peter Parker on his journey from boyhood to superhero, the trailer showed the young Spider-Man stepping up to take over Iron Man’s role.

Kicking off the three minute long clip, Tom told fans to exit the screen if they hadn’t seen the latest Avengers film yet.

‘If you haven’t see Avengers: Endgame yet, stop watching, some serious spoilers are about to come up,’ The Impossible actor said.

For those who continued on with the trailer, it then opened on Peter, dressed in his spider suit, sitting atop a building and looking at a giant graffiti painting Iron Man.

‘Everywhere I go, I see his face,’ Peter said.

Then the scene cut to Parker talking with Happy Hogan, played by Jon Favreau, about the loss of their beloved Tony Stark.

Hogan comforted the boy saying, ‘I don’t think Tony would have done what he did if he didn’t know you were going to be here when he’s gone.’

With the pressure on, audiences then watched as Spider-Man fought off dozens of bad guys in a restaurant.

When the police finally arrived, Peter already had the villains all tied up in webs and ready to be thrown in jail.

‘You going to be the next Iron Man now?’ one of the officers asked Peter hinting at some foreshadowing.

With a snarky reply, Parker snapped back: ‘Well no, I’m too busy doing your job.’

After the humorous display, Peter was back with Hogan, who frantically yelled at him to answer his phone as Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, was calling.

But, being the rebellious teenager that he is, Peter ended the call, not wanting to fully step into his super hero shoes just yet.

Desiring to live his life as a normal kid, Peter then embarked on a class trip to Europe, where he’d get to spend time with his class crush, MJ, played by Zendaya.

It wasn’t long until the trip went awry though, as one night, Parker’s roommate gets knocked out cold by Fury, who was lurking in the dark of their room after hunting Peter down.

The trailer then showed Peter with Fury and his assistant, played by Cobie Smulders, as they told him they have a mission he needs to complete.

That mission will be alongside Jake Gyllenhaal’s character, Quentin Beck, aka the villainous Mysterio.

‘We have a job to do, and you’re coming with us,’ Nick told him.

But Peter retorted saying, ‘There’s gotta be someone else you can use. What about Thor?’

Nick and Maria then shut down all of Parker’s proposals for alternative superheros to take his place, saying Thor wasn’t currently on earth and Captain Marvel was unavailable.

‘I’m just the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,’ Parker finally said.

‘Bitch, please! You’ve been to space,’ Fury shot back.
