SAN DIEGO – Saturday’s Marvel Studios panel is always the most anticipated presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, the one thousands of fans camp out overnight to watch live, and this year’s was one of its biggest yet.

On the heels of the mega-success of “Avengers: Endgame,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – 23 films and counting, including the latest movie, “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

Here’s minute-by-minute breakdown of all the Marvel news (times are PT).

6:42: “Fantastic Four,” “Black Panther 2,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and “Captain Marvel 2” are all on the way, as well as mutants (which means the X-Men). One more big reveal: Mahershala Ali will star in a new “Blade” movie as the iconic vampire hunter played by Wesley Snipes in three movies beginning in 1998. “Mahershala I think might actually be Blade, frankly. He’s amazing. He’s one of the greatest actors of our time,” Feige says in the press room after the panel.” Ali met with Marvel right after winning a best supporting actor Oscar for “Green Room” earlier this year. “Within about 10 minutes, he was like, ‘Blade,’ and you’re like, ‘Yeah.’ It came together and there he was tonight. It literally was just like that.”

How can Marvel own Comic-Con yet again? Reloading its ‘Avengers’ starpower

‘Top Gun: Maverick’: Tom Cruise surprises Comic-Con crowd with epic first trailer

6:38: The “Black Widow” trailer shows a brutal fight with Natasha and Yelena choking each other out with a shower curtain in Budapest, and ends with a throwdown between Black Widow and debuting baddie Taskmaster.

6:27: “Black Widow” comes out May 1, 2020. David Harbour is Alexei, and cast also includes Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz. And, of course, Scarlett Johansson is here, too. Cate Shortland is directing. “I don’t think I could have portrayed this iteration of Natasha 10 years ago,” Johansson says of her “fully realized woman.” Harbour is very excited. Florence’s character Yelena Belova is a “sister” character to Natasha. It’s Weisz’s first Comic-Con. Marvel “has really put at the forefront strong and powerful female characters,” she says.

6:21: “Thor: Love and Thunder” hits theaters in fall 2021. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson star as Thor and Valkyrie, with Taika Waititi returning to direct the fourth Thor film. It has an awesome logo. “There’s nothing more powerful in the world than love,” says the director. “And thunder,” Hemsworth adds. The actor has not seen the script. Thompson teases that Valkyrie will be looking for “a queen.” Jason Aaron’s “Mighty Thor” comic-book story line will be pulled from and featured Jane Foster as female Thor. It just so happens Natalie Portman will be back as Jane, and she arrives holding the hammer Mjolnir. “It feels pretty good. I’ve always had hammer envy,” Portman says.

6:17: Jeremy Renner, who plays ace archer Hawkeye, arrives by walking through the excited crowd. He’ll star in Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” coming in fall 2021 and featuring Clint Barton shepherding Kate Bishop “to be a better version of me,” Renner says. “I can teach another person to be a superhero without superpowers.”

6:11: The “What If …?” animated series hits Disney+ in summer 2021. Many MCU actors will reprise their roles in stories that tweak events we’ve seen (i.e. Peggy Carter becoming Captain America instead of Steve Rogers). Jeffrey Wright will voice The Watcher, who “observes all things and watches the multiverse,” Wright says. Every now and then, he’ll get involved in human events.

6:08: Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, is here! The crowd sings “Happy Birthday” to him – he turned 43 yesterday. “I’m really excited to be at the dawn of this project,” he says, adding there’ll be humor and horror. “He’ll be in a position of not knowing what’s coming at him. We’re going to go back to trying to destroy him a bit.” Olsen will appear as Scarlet Witch, and “WandaVision” will tie into this film.

6:06: “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” comes out May 7, 2021. Scott Derrickson is back to to direct the sequel. He promises “psychedelic weirdness.” This will be “the first scary MCU film.”

6:01: “Loki” is coming spring 2021 to Disney+ and picks up where Tom Hiddleston’s trickster god escaped during “Endgame.” “You guys saw ‘Avengers,’ right? He’s still that guy,” Hiddleston says, reminding that Loki had just gotten “Hulk-smashed” and isn’t psychologically right.

5:57: Spring 2021 brings “WandaVision” to Disney+ starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. “It’s going to get weird,” Olsen says. Teyonah Parris will play a grownup Monica Rambeau.

5:53: Simu Liu is Shang-Chi. He was just cast on Tuesday.

5:49: “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is the next movie coming Feb. 12, 2021. Tony Leung will play the real Mandarin. Awkwafina is also a part of the film. Director is Destin Daniel Cretton. The film ties into something seeded in “Iron Man 3.”

5:46: A video of Daniel Bruhl means he’s coming back as “Civil War” villain Baron Zemo (with a mask).

5:45: Stan wants to “explore the Falcon as a character. What kind of man is this man? We’ll find out. We know he’s got thighs. We want to see what else.” Mackie wants to know what makes the Winter Soldier “tick.” They have a buddy-comedy chemistry. “We have the job everyone else would kill to have,” Mackie says.
