Aggressive parasite whose punch creates people allergic to red beef is nearing in Canada

Les Waters will never forget his reaction after he ate a hamburger during a grill in Jan 2015.

“It’s like your throat swells up, we can’t breathe, your blood vigour drops, and we black out,” pronounced a 63-year-old male from Harcourt, a little village in eastern Ontario.

Waters, an zealous hunter and beef lover, learned he had grown a singular allergy to everything made from beef, pork and lamb.
