Yugoslavia had one feet in a 1976 UEFA European Championship final when West Germany manager Helmut Schön done one of a many desirous substitutions of all time.

With a West Germans trailing 2-1 with 11 mins left, Schön replaced Herbert Wimmer with Dieter Müller who, on his debut, had a diversion of his life. Within 3 mins a Köln striker had equalised before scoring twice some-more in additional time to finish a hat-trick and send West Germany by to a final.
