Stassi Schroeder’s husband Beau Clark aired out their shock marriage woes in the premiere episode of her new Hulu series House of Stassi on Thursday.
The Vanderpump Rules icon, 38, married Clark, 46, in 2020 and they are parents to two young children: daughter Hartford, five, and son Messer, two.
Clark broke down in tears as he confessed to being ‘angry and resentful’ in his relationship with Schroeder while venting about their marriage to Taylor Strecker, who is Schroeder’s podcast co-host.
He later compared their dynamic at home to ‘roommates,’ as he spoke about being a stay-at-home dad while Schroeder is the breadwinner with a hectic schedule.
‘I’m trying to balance wanting her to have her space and to be able to not stress out when she’s working,’ Clark shared with Strecker, as per Us Weekly. ‘But then also I’m sitting here and I’m angry and resentful.’
Clark explained that he has been ‘shoving it down instead of confronting the issue head on by talking it through with Schroeder.
‘I just got so detached from her that it’s like we’re roommates. I don’t feel worthy.’

Clark elaborated on his difficulty bringing up the topic to his wife of six years during a taped confessional.
‘I’m trying not to stress out Stassi. She’s got the show going on and she has her podcast. She’s got brand deals,’ he told the camera.
But Clark hoped that ‘at some point’ he would ‘find the words to just have a chat’ with Schroeder.
‘With Stassi, I will let her know how I’ve been feeling.’
Clark eventually worked up the courage to tell Schroeder how leaving the workforce and being a stay-at-home dad has affected his mental health.
He told the TV star that he feels like ‘a 1950s housewife where I have my apron on and I’m cleaning everything while feeding the kids.
‘Sometimes that’s how I feel because we don’t have that connection all the time.’
Schroeder was particularly moved by Clark comparing their relationship to ‘roommates’ as she began to tear up on camera.

She reassured Clark that she wants him to ‘say things’ to her and to not let issues ‘build up’ inside of him.
She also acknowledged that she needs to ‘make more of an effort’ and declared that they would ‘work through’ whatever issues they are facing.
Speaking in her own confessional, Schroeder heaped praise on her ‘supportive’ spouse and how he has stepped up since building a family together.
‘All I know is him being with me in the thick of it every day – for the last five years. I became a mom and he was with me the whole entire time.’
Despite Clark struggling emotionally in their marriage, Schroeder reassured House of Stassi producers that that did not make her regret her decision to return to reality TV.
‘I’ve already been working for years to get here. I can’t just stop now because all of a sudden, Beau waited until this very moment to tell me that.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Schroeder for further comment but has yet to hear back.
Schroeder first sparked up a romance with Clark in 2017 while starring on Bravo’s hit TV series Vanderpump Rules.
Clark’s came into Schroeder’s life following her failed on/off romance with Patrick Meagher, who she split from the same year she was matched with Clark.

Schroeder’s romance with Clark began in 2017 while she was starring on Bravo’s hit reality TV series Vanderpump Rules
She also famously dated fellow Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor in the first season of the show, which aired back in 2013.
Months after her abrupt firing from Vanderpump Rules over a racism scandal in 2020, she and Clark legally married in California after just over two years together.
Schroeder got her ‘fairytale’ wedding when she, Clark and their closest family and friends ventured to Rome, Italy in 2022.
The couple kicked started their family before tying the knot as Schroeder became pregnant with her and Clark’s first child – daughter Hartford – in April 2020. She gave birth on January 7, 2021.
Schroeder became pregnant for a second time in 2023, confirming the news on social media that March. She gave birth to son Messer on September 7, 2023.
