June is busting out all over your streaming queues. 

Every month your favorite streaming services, like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and HBO Now, refresh their libraries with new movies and TV shows (and lose a few of you favorites, too). So if you’re looking for something new to watch this June, we’ve got five great choices for you, whether you want comedy, tragedy, politics or even dance.

If you love Broadway and parody: ‘Documentary Now!’

The third season of this documentary parody series features a broader cast of comedians you love poking fun at documentaries you love, hate or maybe haven’t even heard of at all. The highlight of the new season is “Original Cast Album: Co-Op,” an episode that takes on a 1970 doc barely known outside of musical theater circles, “Original Cast Album: Company.” That documentary recounts the recording of the cast album for Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Company.” The “Documentary Now” version features John Mulaney, Richard Kind and Taran Killam. 

Stream Season 3 on Netflix June 3. 

If you believe shows can be saved: ‘Designated Survivor’

Kiefer Sutherland’s disaster drama got the boot from ABC, but Netflix swooped in to save the series from cancellation, renewing it for a 10-episode third season. That season finally arrives early this month, which still gives you a little time to catch up on the first two. The series is shaky at first but eventually becomes a decent political thriller, sort of a combination between “Madame Secretary” and “Jericho.”

Stream Season 3 on Netflix June 7. 

If you love Zoe Saldana and ballet: ‘Center Stage’

Relive the early 2000s in all their glory with “Center Stage,” a delightful rom-com about a group of young students at a fictional elite ballet school. The charming young cast features a young Zoe Saldana, and the equally charming script has all the cheesy love scenes and meet-cutes you could want. The finale dance number is so good you’ll want to watch it over and over again. 

Stream it on Hulu.

If you love smart sci-fi: ‘District 9’

The brutal and intimate film from director Neill Blomkamp is a very different take on the alien invasion drama, where the aliens are the victims and humans are the enemy. Inspired by the policies of South Africa’s apartheid, the film follows the events after a ship of sick aliens lands in Johannesburg and is confined to the ghetto-like “District 9.” 

Stream it on Amazon June 3 and Hulu June 4. 

If you somehow missed it in theaters: ‘A Star is Born’

Bradley Cooper’s Academy Award-nominated directorial debut is coming to HBO Now/Go early this month in case you miss having “Shallow” stuck in your head. If you somehow didn’t see the rise of Ally’s (Lady Gaga) star in the film, it certainly holds up months after all the hype. Come for the great performances, stay for the incredible songs.
