Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards’ wife Mackenzie has filed for divorce and has been granted a restraining order against him, USWeekly reports.
Edwards, 31 is wanted by police in Tennessee in connection with allegations he stalked Mackenzie – and his partner of six years filed divorce papers on Monday February 27, was granted the restraining order and temporary custody of their two young children.
The former couple wed in 2017 after meeting at a gym in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They are now parents to son Jagger, four, and daughter Stella, three.
Edwards is also father to son Bentley, 14, with Maci Bookout, 31, who he was seen with on the MTV series 16 Pregnant.
This comes it was reported by the US Sun that authorities filed warrants against Edwards on Thursday which comes less than two weeks after Edwards, 35, was arrested February 10 in connection with harassment of Mackenzie.

In his arrest, Edwards was also charged with violating an order of protection, and possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.

Edwards was subsequently taken into custody and held on a bond of $5,000, the outlet reported.
Prior to Edwards’ arrest, he took to social media with a picture of Mackenzie topless, captioning the image, ‘If you guys have never seen a spineless s*** this is one.’
He added: ‘They take your money sleep with anything that looks at them. But they must have a wife to [sic]. God what a joke. It’s sad really.’
Following the social media post, Mackenzie, 26, reported to the police multiple instances of domestic violence Edwards has been involved in since they wed in 2017.
Mackenzie told police Edwards ‘punched holes in the walls and doors’ and held her up by her ‘neck to the wall’ during a fight last month.
Mackenzie told authorities that Edwards threw her ‘down in hallway and said if he could not have me no one could’ and ‘opened [his] pocket knife’ and put it to her ‘back like he was going to kill’ her.

She said that the entire incident played out in front of their children.
‘I tried to leave, he smashed my phone, took my car keys,’ Mackenzie said, adding that a co-worker contacted the authorities in the wake of the incident.
Mackenzie told police that a week later, Edwards was violent with her again. She said that Edwards ‘came into bedroom where [she] was laying down … pretending like he’s going to punch [her] face’ while yelling at her.
She said that after Edwards broke the bed she was lying in at the time, she ‘went to get [her] kids and leave,’ but he wouldn’t let her.
She said Edwards ‘threw [her] down in [the] living room’ and ‘threw menthol nicotine in [her] eyes.’
Mackenzie was granted a temporary protective order.

His issues with drugs were subsequently chronicled on the network’s popular series Teen Mom.
Edwards in March of 2018 was arrested in connection with a probation violation on a previous drug conviction, after which Bookout obtained a restraining order against him.
He was subsequently arrested later that year after he was arrested with heroin in his possession, eventually serving a three-month prison stint in connection with the incident.
