Soulja Boy‘s investment in hygiene company The Soap Shop appears to have paid off, with the company enjoying a 30 percent increase in sales amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to TMZ, the rapper invested in a franchise location in Mississippi last year (2019) with his manager, CEO Miami Mike, and the decision has paid off, as the outbreak of coronavirus has urged consumers to frantically stock up on soap, disinfectant and cleaning products.

Sources told the publication that the corporation has gone from selling 100 bottles of cleaning products per month to more than 3,000, with a 30 percent increase in sales. The insider noted it’s a record-setting production.

Regarding the “Turn My Swag On” star’s location in South Haven, MS, they added profits have tripled without the retail outlet changing anything.

In addition to benefitting the star, the increase in sales is also good for charity Bubbles for Cash, which Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, linked his business to.

Within the model, Kids sell his soap products via fundraising, and most of the money raised goes back into the community to fund programs and services for young people.
