Ron Perlman’s estranged wife is asking for spousal support to cover expenses related to her mental health.
Opal Stone Perlman, 69, was reportedly so devastated at the sudden collapse of her 38-year marriage to the Hellboy actor that she has been struggling with depression and anxiety.
Ron, 70, filed for divorce from Opal in 2019 and has been dating 48-year-old actress Allison Dunbar, who he is reportedly engaged to.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Opal says she requires a psychologist to help her get through this difficult period.
The jewelry designer has also hired a life coach to help her move forward with her life, as she spent the past 30 years devoting herself to her family, while Ron was the sole breadwinner.
Opal is requesting spousal support to cover her expenses including the psychologist and life coach which she says costs $4,500 a month.
The mother-of-two claims Ron has plenty of money to pay support, and says he made over $1.6 million in 2018 and more than $1.1 million in 2019. She acknowledges that his income has been affected in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In October Ron filed legal documents requesting a bifurcation of his divorce, which would grant him single status and allow him to work out the other parts of the divorce, like spousal support and division of assets at a later date.
In legal docs obtained by TMZ, Ron said: ‘I believe terminating the marriage as soon as legally possible would be in our best interests in that it would reduce the emotional strain and pressure I have personally observed in both [Opal Stone Perlman] and myself, and it would allow me to move forward with my life.’
