Medley officially joined the show in 2015 for the show’s seventh season.
This current season – season 12 – has been a rough one for Medley as she has been feuding with her co-stars and she has been criticized for her drinking. The star has said she has been more vulnerable than ever, and it has taken a toll on her.
This comes after the star is grieving the loss of her ‘dear friend’ Jon Giswold who died on Sunday.
The Bravo star took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to her long time pal, saying she was ‘devastated’ by his passing, in a post on Monday.
Along with being close confidants, Giswold and Medley had worked together to create her popular 80s themed workout class, Dorobics.

‘I am devastated to let you know my dear friend Jon Giswold passed away yesterday,’ Dorinda penned in a sad Instagram message.
She shared two images that seemed to encapsulate her friendship with Jon, showing them both smiling and goofing around together.
‘Friendships are like homes, some of it is superficial and pretty and some are a part of your foundation. John [sic] was my ride or die, my 5:30 in the morning FaceTime, my thoughts and dreams person, my Dorobics buddy, My Forever Friend,’ Dorinda wrote in the caption.
She continued: ‘I will miss you dearly and smile every time I see a rainbow, hear Donna Summers on the radio, and wake up too early in the morning.

He also helped Dorinda conceptualize her high-octane retro aerobics class, Dorobics.
