Is someone cutting onions in here?

Kindness goes a long way, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. So when a FedEx worker in Boca Raton, Florida took the extra step to disinfect a package for a house with a young girl living with an autoimmune disorder, it made all the difference to her family.

Mom Carrie Blasi has a sign on her door with a photo of a stop sign and reads: “Someone in this house has an autoimmune disorder! … Please leave packages/deliveries on the doorstep!”

The delivery driver not only obliged, but took the time to clean the package with a disinfectant wipe.

“We have a sign on our door for packages/mail as our 11 year old daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic. Our Federal Express delivery guy wrote this on our box ‘I sanitized your box once I’ve seen the note on your door’ – and you can tell that he used sanitizer wipes on the box. Amazing!!” Blasi wrote to Twitter.

The family’s video doorbell, captured the FedEx worker Justin Bradshaw leaving the package on the doorstep and going to his car before returning with a wipe to clean the box.

Blasi later tweeted that she was able to thank the driver and meet his family (virtually).

“I got to thank him and meet his family (virtually) and they are amazing – we need more people like them!!” she wrote.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to sweep the nation, many people and celebrities have taken the time to go a step further and help or show some kindness.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is bringing back the original “Fleabag” to help the cause.

Waller-Bridge’s one-woman play that inspired the award-winning Amazon Prime series is currently available for streaming, with proceeds donated to various U.K. charities fighting the worldwide health pandemic, including the newly launched Fleabag Support Fund.

Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Cody Simpson delivered 120 tacos to their local hospital to express gratitude to hospital workers, whom Simpson dubbed “the heroes of our time.”

“So grateful for these true legends of our time dedicating their lives to battling this pandemic,” he captioned an Instagram post, featuring himself and Cyrus. “Show some love to yours in your community!”

A message on each bag read: “Thank you for your support love. Stay strong!”
