Jacob Elordi’s shock at what goes on behind closed doors in Kendall Jenner’s inner circle… and the offer that made him see things differently

Jacob Elordi has no doubt worked alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood, but even he, it seems, is not totally immune from feeling ‘starstruck.’

As his romance with Kendall Jenner appears to heat up, a source exclusively tells the Daily Mail that it is her A-list posse that has truly swept him off his feet.

‘He is thrilled with her social circle, which he has called “impressive” because it’s all heavy hitters,’ the source said. ‘It’s one big name after another. Jacob is starstruck for sure.’

Most recently, the Australian Oscar nominee, 28, has been seen with 30-year-old Jenner’s VIP inner circle – including her sister Kylie, 28, and her actor boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, 30, as well as Hailey Bieber, 29, and her husband Justin Bieber, 32.

And he is especially impressed with Jenner’s billionaire half-sister Kim Kardashian, 45, who he ‘thinks the world of and respects lots’ because of her companies like SKIMS and her moves in the acting world.

It seems a far cry from the ‘LA brats’ his ex-girlfriend Olivia Jade Giannulli surrounds herself with, according to our insider.

Jacob Elordi is newly smitten with Kendall Jenner and, according to our source, her A-list network

Giannulli, 26, the daughter of Full House actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, dated the actor on and off for four years before officially calling it quits.

And, according to the source, while Elordi ‘loves Giannulli to pieces and they’re still friends,’ he had a hard time with her group.

‘When he was with Olivia, their circle was a bunch of LA brats who liked to party,’ the insider said. ‘Olivia is great, she is a nice girl, but a lot of her friends are privileged, they are kind of a snobby bunch.’ 

By contrast, Jenner’s circle ‘is much more elevated.’

‘Everyone is focusing on IPOs and how to become a billionaire,’ the source said. ‘It’s a new level and he is thrilled. In Kendall’s camp, everyone helps each other out.’

And Jenner’s mother, Kris, 70, is especially keen to be a good friend to Elordi.

‘Kris is always like, “How can I help make you richer? I have contacts,”‘ our insider added. ‘And she really does. It’s pretty seductive to have all that support.’

It also helps that Kris has billionaire Jeff Bezos, 62, and Lauren Sanchez, 56, as friends.

‘Those two are a phone call away,’ said the source.

‘They make things happen, and before you laugh, just remember who controlled the Met Gala this year,’ they added, referencing how the couple co-chaired the 2026 Met Gala. ‘Jeff makes things happen and so does Lauren.’

The insider also noted that Kris is close friends with a lot of fashion designers like Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of Dolce Gabbana, Olivier Rousteing and Tommy Hilfiger. For Jenner’s part, she’s worked with brands like Calvin Klein and Gucci.

‘Kendall suggested Jacob model more as a lucrative side gig and she and her mom have all the contacts in the world,’ the source said. ‘Kris can make a deal happen with one call, so it looks like Jacob will have a huge side income now.

‘He has already modeled a lot but she is telling him to go to the big league for the big bucks.’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Jenner and Elordi for comment. 

Things certainly seem to be heating up for the duo, who have been friends for many years.

One of the first times they were seen together was in late February 2022, in Paris, when they hung out with Luka Sabbat. Then, they both attended the same Bottega Veneta spring/summer fashion show in September 2024.

Next, they were pictured inside the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March. The two were photographed standing face-to-face during an intimate conversation.

But they weren’t linked romantically until they were then seen kissing at Justin Bieber’s Coachella after party.

Elordi was recently spotted with Jenner, her sister Kylie, and Chalamet

More recently, the pair have been seen together in Hawaii as well as in Montecito, where Jenner owns a $23 million equestrian estate. In April, the Daily Mail learned they started dating earlier this year.

‘They were an item as far back as early February, so it’s been a while,’ our source said. ‘It helps that they have both been in Los Angeles a lot for the past couple of months, it has really given them time to bond.’

It was also learned that Jenner’s younger sister played matchmaker.

‘Kylie was around Jacob a lot during [Chalamet’s] award season marathon because Jacob was nominated for Frankenstein and Timothée was nominated for Marty Supreme,’ the source explained.

‘Kylie liked him and thought he would be good for Kenny, so she was like, girl, get on it, date this guy already.’
