Glee alum Becca Tobin says ‘stop asking women about their fertility’ after sharing detailed IVF update
Glee alum Becca Tobin and her husband – ABV agent Zach Martin – revealed October 21 that they have five viable frozen embryos ready to implant after suffering the heartbreak of two miscarriages.
But the 34-year-old triple-threat just spoke out asking fans and friends not to inquire further about their IVF journey.
‘Please don’t text me. We just need to understand that: Stop asking women about their fertility, and let them volunteer the information and read the room,’ Becca told People on Tuesday.

‘I know that the next couple months, there are going to be a few comments on Instagram. Like, “Is that a baby bump? Are you pregnant?” That stuff is really tough.
‘And I can’t stress it enough that we just have to stop. We have to allow women to share their news when they’re ready, and the speculation and the questions just adds more stress and pressure to a family.’

This, after Tobin and Martin sat down for a six-minute conversation with their fertility specialist, Dr. Said Daneshmand, via Instagram.
Daneshmand estimated the couple have a ’70-80 percent chance of implantation, pregnancy, and delivery’ with at least three of their five embryos.
