Britney Spears teased her wild ‘new look’ as she continues to move past from her DUI arrest which took place five months earlier.
The 44-year-old singer, whose son recently broke silence on conspiracy theories after his mom’s frightening car stunt, jumped to Instagram on Thursday to offer a glimpse at a bold hairstyle she is ‘excited’ about.
The Baby One More Time hitmaker is known for sporting blonde locks, but the star seemingly hinted she is planning for colorful hues.
Spears uploaded a photo of hair styled straight with patterned colors of green, red, blue, yellow, black and pink.
In the caption of the post, the music artist wrote: ‘I wanna make people feel comfortable and safe and inspired and definitely sexy…’
The songstress continued, ‘I’m getting excited by this… my new look I can’t wait.’

In a separate post also shared on Thursday, Spears filmed herself inside a vehicle while seemingly talking about her current hairstyle.
The star could be seen sitting in the passenger seat of a car as she sported a white satin tank top with a lace trim.
The performer also sported a pair of stylish black shades as she flipped her blonde locks over her shoulders.
‘Way too hot in the valley… and my Something About Mary hair is starting to grow on me,’ Spears penned.
Cameron Diaz had starred in the 1998 romantic comedy There’s Something About Mary where she sported a shorter blonde bob. A hair gel scene in the film caused some strands to stick up at the front.
It comes shortly after her son Jayden, 19, broke silence on wild conspiracy theories after her frightening car stunt and DUI arrest back in March.

Earlier this month, Spears was spotted as she climbed out of a car roof on the busy 101 freeway just months after her DUI arrest.
The star stretched both arms across the roof of the moving vehicle and titled her head back as the black Mercedes SUV kept cruising through the traffic.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that the pop star briefly stuck her head out to see how much traffic there was.
‘Britney just went through the sunroof for a quick moment, she wanted to see what the traffic was about up ahead because the cars came to a stop. She wanted to see how long they would be delayed.’
The insider added, ‘She used to do this all the time as a kid growing up in the South, she loves having the warm wind blow through her hair in the summer, it’s fun.
‘She is having a fun summer and is happy, she is in a good place. If it’s illegal to put your head through a sunroof, she doesn’t know it! She didn’t mean to do anything bad.’
Back on March 4, the star was arrested on suspicion of DUI. She later pleaded guilty at her arraignment and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.

Both her sons reportedly staged an intervention for their famous mom following the incident, which prompted her to check into rehab.
‘The boys started to get involved. They’re the only ones she listens to, and they were so loving, so kind, but also so firm. This was non-negotiable to them,’ a source previously told the Daily Mail.
The singer notably pleaded guilty at her arraignment at the Ventura County Superior Court. She entered the guilty plea via her lawyer, Michael Goldstein, as the star did not attend the arraignment in person.
Spears was also ordered to enroll in a three-month alcohol and drug education program.
She was fined $571 and was additionally ordered to see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month.
The music artist was ordered not to consume alcohol and drugs aside from prescription medication.
And after her arrest, Spears ‘voluntarily’ checked herself into the luxe rehab facility Borden Cottage in Maine.

And while the Baby One More Time songstress was notably absent from her kids’ special milestone, the pop star still sent love to her boys despite being miles away.
Jayden revealed to Vogue that Spears had been ‘so nervous’ for them as they strutted down the runway for the first time.
‘She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do,’ he added.
Jayden also shared to the outlet that the pop star ‘sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times. It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there.’
He gushed that Spears had the utmost confidence in her sons ahead of their runway debut. ‘She was like, “Yeah, you guys are my sons. You’ve got this.”‘
Both her children relocated to Hawaii with their father back in 2023, but Federline shared in his memoir You Thought You Knew, which dropped last year, that Jayden has moved back to Los Angeles, per E! News.

‘Jayden has already returned to LA, chasing his music dreams,’ he wrote, while adding the teen is ‘brimming with creative energy.’

‘If you’re lucky I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to… hopefully this year,’ she wrote in the caption. ‘And if not the most beautiful things will never be seen!!!!!’
Spears added, ‘Come what may… oh so near but the feet I feel lived too much in fear so the soil of ground that silence suspends is where I’m found yet there begin!!!! It’s in the silence!!!!!!’

She had uploaded a video to her main Instagram page as she danced and held a mini guitar in her hands.
‘It’s an emotional day for me,, guitars remind me of baby aliens,, such gentle strings,,, music is said to be the speech of angels [sic],’ Spears penned to her followers.
‘I bought this one in Mexico in hopes one day I can have another baby,’ the pop star concluded.
