Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie Grande publicly extended support for her amid scrutiny and concerns regarding her health – namely, her apparent weight loss.

On Friday the 43-year-old actor shared footage from the 33-year-old pop superstar’s final show of the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine tour and added a heartfelt Instagram caption.

‘Family forever,’ he declared. ‘I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Frankie and Ariana Grande to request comment but has not yet heard back.

Frankie was joined by the siblings’ mom, 69-year-old Joan Grande, on Thursday night at United Center in Chicago for Ariana’s last of three shows at the venue.

His caption continued, ‘Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created.

On Friday the 43-year-old actor shared footage from the 33-year-old pop superstar’s final show of the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine tour

‘It was a magical night. You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time.’

The last sentence was a play on words, as the clip featured Ariana belting the chorus of her 2014 hit song One Last Time.

Ariana released a music video for her song Petal last week, raising alarm bells as she appeared onscreen with her sternum protruding. It even prompted a response from British actress and activist Jameela Jamil, who suggested an eating disorder could be at play.

The titular track from her latest album addresses the pressures of the limelight with lyrics like, ‘Tеll me who’s to blame, is it the people or myself? / But this time feels so very different / This is not a cry for help.’

Two days after the album and video release, a representative announced through People magazine: ‘Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.

‘She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.’

It was also revealed that the multihyphenate entertainer would no longer be joining her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey in the London musical Sunday In The Park with George, scheduled for summer 2027.

Ariana insisted her hiatus from the spotlight was planned ‘a long time ago,’ telling fans at a subsequent show that ‘boundaries need to be set.’

He added a heartfelt Instagram caption, writing, ‘Family forever. I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you’

It comes after earlier this week Frankie uploaded a slew of NSFW photos online. He posed naked in a gym selfie

She clarified to fans that the upcoming pause in public appearances had been ‘quietly’ orchestrated ‘a long time ago’ before insisting that the decision was not made because ‘negativity was ruining things for me.’

The former child star emphasized that ‘multiple things can be true at the same time,’ stating, ‘Yes, boundaries, they need to be set. Human beings can need a break sometimes.’

She added that her tour, which she kicked off in North America in June and which will conclude with ten London dates in September, ‘will continue to be the greatest experience of my professional and creative life.’

Notably, in November 2025, Ariana appeared on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast and shared that this tour would be her last for the foreseeable future.

She explained that her pop career had ‘taken over’ her life and she planned to prioritize other passions.

As the 7 Rings hitmaker wrapped her run of North American shows this week, she used Instagram to speak to fans.

‘I love you,’ she wrote to her 363 million followers, adding, ‘I cannot believe that this concludes the North American leg of the eternal sunshine tour.’

She shared, ‘I am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude. Thank you endlessly for the most special, beautiful, joyful and deeply fulfilling few months.

‘I will cherish every moment of this time with you all these memories forever. Thank you, Chicago … London, I cannot wait to see you soon. I love you all more than ever.’
