Obama outlines 5th anniversary of repealing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’

President Obama noted a fifth anniversary Tuesday of a signature event: The finish of a military’s anathema on gays.

In signing a check repealing a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” process on Dec. 22, 2010, Obama pronounced in a Facebook posting

He added:  “Today, Americans can offer a nation they adore no matter who they love, and plainly gay, lesbian and bisexual group and women in uniform make the troops stronger and America safer.”
