Rep. Greg Gianforte’s mugshot, taken after assaulting a reporter on the eve of his election, was released to the public Wednesday on the order of a Montana judge.

The Republican Gianforte, Montana’s lone member of the House of Representatives, pleaded guilty in June to assaulting Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs on May 24, the night before the special election to replace Ryan Zinke who had been appointed President Trump’s secretary of the Interior.

Jacbos said Gianforte “body-slammed” him and broke his glasses when he asked GIanforte a question about health care policy. In an audio recording of the scuffle, Gianforte is heard yelling, “Get the hell out of here!”

Despite the incident, the millionaire businessman easily won the election.

Gianforte was ordered to pay a $385 fine, complete 40 hours of community service and 20 hours of anger management.

Gianforte initially disputed Jacobs’ version of the incident, but later apologized and gave $50,000 to the Committee to Protect Journalists.

County Attorney Marty Lambert had refused to release Ginaforte’s mugshot without a court order, arguing the photo taken on Aug. 25 was confidential criminal justice information. The photo was made public after several media organizations filed motions for its release.
