Gov. Walker touts ‘master’s degree’ in fighting special interests

As he prepares for a probable presidential campaign, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is observant he’s got a master’s grade of sorts — but not a traditional, sheepskin version.

In a radio talk progressing this week, Walker denounced a somewhat opposite response when asked about his miss of a college degree. The governor, who left Marquette University in his comparison year to take a full-time job, could be in a presidential margin that includes lawyers, doctors and business people with bachelor’s and modernized degrees.

“I’m like a infancy of people in America,” Walker told Hugh Hewitt

Then he got married and started a family. “Like a lot of folks in America, we know, your family and your pursuit take a time divided from we finishing it up,” Walker continued. “I’ve got a master’s grade in holding on a large supervision special interests, and we consider that is value some-more than anything else that anybody can indicate to.”

The final boss who didn’t have a college grade was Harry Truman, who took courses in law and during a business college. As president, Truman was instrumental in formulating two-year village colleges that would yield technical training and degrees as good as a gateway to aloft education.
