Donald Trump took mixed bows for removing Ford to change a skeleton to build new prolongation comforts in Mexico, and instead build a “massive plant” in Ohio. The problem: Ford says it hasn’t altered a skeleton during all.

After tweeting his accomplishmenttown gymnasium eventToday

Trump, Oct. 26

The backstory: Back in April, Ford announced

Trump regularly criticized that understanding on a debate trail, vowing that he would bluster to put a 35% import taxation on Ford unless it altered a plant to a United States. But as we have written before

Here’s how Trump played out a hypothetical unfolding during a Sept. 14 speech in Dallas

Trump, Sept. 14

In a array of tweets on Oct. 25, Trump claimed his difference worked.

“Word is that Ford Motor, given of my consistent disturbing during packaged events, is going to cancel their understanding to go to Mexico and stay in U.S.,” Trump tweetedfollowed up

But Ford hasn’t

“As partial of a tellurian prolongation plan, we announced $2.5 billion investment in dual Mexico comforts to build a new era of engines and transmissions,” Christin Tinsworth Baker, a mouthpiece for Ford told us around email. “These engines and transmissions will support Ford’s tellurian product lineup. Our skeleton for that investment have not changed.”

So what is Trump articulate about? His debate did not respond to a ask for information, though one of Trump’s tweets related to a storyFord shifts lorry prolongation from Mexico to Ohio

That $168 million investment to change prolongation of 2016 Ford F-650 and F-750 trucks from Mexico to Avon Lake, Ohio, was announcedToledo Blade that Ford perceived a $15 million taxation inducement package, over 15 years, that was projected to in-source jobs from Mexico and save 1,400 jobs in Ohio. Interestingly, Ford executives creditedannounced

In fact, CNN Money reported on Oct. 26 that “Donald Trump is wrong about Ford and Mexico

Ford Motor Co. has expelled a matter saying, “Ford has not oral with Mr. Trump, nor have we done any changes to a plans. We motionless to pierce a F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks to Ohio Assembly in 2011, prolonged before any possibilities announced their goal to run for U.S. president. We are unapproachable that Ford has invested $10.2 billion in a U.S. plants given 2011 and hired scarcely 25,000 U.S. employees. Overall, some-more than 80 percent of a North American investment annually is in a U.S., and 97 percent of a North American engineering is conducted in a U.S.”

In other words, Trump should not get credit for any of that. The due Ford plants in Mexico that Trump has been articulate about via his debate are relocating brazen as planned.

We should note that this is a third time
