Donald Trump retweets fake stats on crime and race

WASHINGTON — On a same weekend that Donald Trump suggested a black protester during his Alabama rally, The Washington Post notes

The discredited graphic, that alleges that blacks are obliged for many of a murders of black and white victims in a U.S., is not upheld by FBI data. As The Post reported, 90% of black victims are killed by blacks; and 82.4% of white victims are killed by whites, according to 2014 data. Also, 14.8% of white victims were killed by blacks, according to a FBI, a starkly opposite figure than what’s decorated in a graphic.

The statistics simulate what has prolonged been loyal about carnage in America: people are customarily killed by people they know, including people they are associated to or live near.

Also, there is no denote that a purported source of a data in a twitter — a “Crime Statistics Bureau of San Francisco” — exists.
